Welcome to the Future Frontiers: PhD Conference on Emerging Technologies! The conference is aimed at PhD students and their supervisors in the fields of engineering and biotechnology, and will be taking place from 6-7 May 2025.

The focus of the conference is to apply scientific research toward the development of innovative technologies. Participation in this event offers doctoral students their first conference experience, an opportunity to present their research to an interdisciplinary audience, and encourages collaboration among universities. To participate, please submit an abstract. The abstracts will be evaluated by a committee, who will choose 100 of the most qualified. PhD students can then present their research through oral presentations or posters. Whether the student can present their research orally or via a poster, will be decided based on their submitted abstracts.

The conference is organized by the Institute of Technology at the University of Tartu and will bring together doctoral students from several institutions, including the University of Tartu, Tallinn University of Technology, Estonian University of Life Sciences, Estonian Academy of Arts, and Estonian Aviation Academy.
