EIT manufacturing summerschool: Exploring the Market for Eco-friendly and Socially Committed Manufacturing

The present hurdles in manufacturing revolve around minimizing resource usage and environmental harm, amidst a backdrop of escalating automation in production where digitalization is pivotal. However, progress must adhere to social responsibility standards.

During this “Market Exploration Bootcamp”, participants will have the possibility to study the reference context and users of their Business Idea, using problem framing methodologies, in order to develop economically, environmentally and socially sustainable solutions. For those still developing their business idea will engage in tackling a designated challenge.

The event is structured to deliver a comprehensive introduction to the subject, progressing to practical examples and specific case studies, culminating in a guided hands-on activity.

The focus will be on exploring the integration and application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the manufacturing sector. Summerschool will equip participants with current methods and tools to foster creativity and drive sustainable innovation. Also company representatives will share their experiences and success stories, fostering interactive and participatory learning.
