Research:
● Self-assembled systems: We take advantage of self-assembly to create nucleic acid nanoshapes, liposomes, and hybrid structures.
● Nucleic acid nanotechnology: We use programmable nucleic acid nanostructures for diverse biotechnological applications.
● DNA origami: We primarily use the DNA origami technique to design and build custom and dynamic nanoshapes.
● Biomaterials: We utilize proteins, nucleic acids, lipids, synthetic polymers, and nanoparticles to develop novel hybrid nanostructures and materials.
● Drug delivery: We study the aforementioned materials with different therapeutic functions and their stability.
